Alishan ecohome is India’s first permaculture based earth bag cottages/Home stay build by earth and handicrafted by us. We are using the ancient architecture technologies like soil, wind catcher and Eco cooler in the concept.

The cottage is also zero furniture and solar energy based. We have achieved to cool down inside around 10-12 degrees of temperature till now and will be trying to achieve 15-20 degrees in total. We are making 6 cottages in first phase. Second phase we are about to begin with 12 more and phase 3 with additional 16 homes.

Being on a national highway and 40 minutes from Nagpur on Nagpur - Pune highway it’s being and exotic place surrounded by valley and greenery. The other USP of this agrotourism eco-project is local empowerment using the local people and training them. Even respecting the recycling concept we are using fly ash in plaster and concrete material.
